FORGIVENESS 1

One of the uncomfortable words for some Christians is the word "forgiveness". But it's interesting to note that we are Christians because God forgave us of our sins. Therefore, we also ought to forgive one another.
Humanly speaking forgiveness is hard because it deals with our ego. You feel cheated, used, betrayed, disrespected and hurt for what the other party did to you. And you want an opportunity to make them feel exactly (or even worse) what they did to you.
Therefore to forgive, you'll need to let go and allow your bruised ego to heal. I know it's hard, but you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
"Oh Sir I can forgive o, but I can't forget what they did". I understand dear. Try this: "whenever there is a flashback of what they did, just breathe out, mention their name (out loud like you are making a declaration) say I've forgiven him/her". Do that three times, and the pain will go away.
